This one day workshop will explore the very essence of organizational design, focusing on requirements gathering, information needs and business culture considerations. It will consider what the change impacts are when redesigning existing structures and when creating new structures.
- Understand the purpose and underlying needs of structure and systematic relationships within organizations
- Learn about the information needs and preparation for undertaking an organizational design
- Prepare change plans for organizational restructures, understanding the differences to be considered between existing and new creations
Interactive discussions will prevail throughout the day. Graphical investigation of structures, case studies and functional analysis exercises will help build professional approaches to organizational design activity plans and tools to be deployed when undertaking an organizational design project.
Attendees will receive a content based workbook, access to online resources and the opportunity to count the course towards renewal of the Certified Change Agent Program.
