This afternoon workshop is designed to explore the role of the Change Sponsor as they balance the need to direct, guide and steer their change responsibilities whilst appreciating the balance of this with their day job and the expectations of those around them. Change sponsors are the chief juggler of any change event and here we explore what is needed for them to succeed.
- Understand the various roles of a change event including that of the sponsor
- Develop a profile of an effective change sponsor with balanced leadership and management responsibilities
- Know how to lead others through change and appreciate their response to change
- Build their Change Sponsor Profile for a current change event
Interactive discussion based delivery will explore the key elements of this course. Attendees will be encouraged to explore a current change event and dynamically apply their learning to that change. This will provide more than knowledge and skills to take away but practical approaches to deal with a current change and use as a guide for future events.
Attendees will receive a content based workbook, Change Sponsor role templates and access to online resources.
